Accessibility statement
Updated 18 October 2026
Our commitment
We want people with disabilities to be able to explore Thirdkind, understand its plans and use its support information. Our development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement covers the website, not a certification of the Chrome extension.
Using the website
The website includes a skip link, descriptive page titles, one main heading per page, labelled form fields, visible focus styles and native buttons and dialogs. Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology. You can use native video controls and a written description of the silent trailer.
Motion and reminders
Your device's reduced-motion preference is respected by the reminder flight and scroll animation. The rocket pauses while hovered or focused. Read the example reminder opens the same note without catching an animated object. Tap the reminder paper, press Enter, or use the browser's Escape key to close it.
Readability
The site uses the owner's charcoal, earth brown and burnt amber palette with lighter text. Selected text/background pairs have been checked in code against WCAG contrast thresholds. The reminder uses decorative calligraphy; a plain-text version is also available beside the demonstration.
Assessment and known limitations
Source and server-response checks cover headings, labels, image alternatives, links, selected contrast pairs and media delivery. Full browser keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, mobile and performance testing has not yet been completed. Glass surfaces over changing artwork and the calligraphy reminder need visual verification. We are not claiming full WCAG conformance.
Feedback and assistance
Use the Contact page for accessibility support once the verified support channel opens. That channel is currently unavailable; publishing a working contact method is required before launch. We have not promised a response timeframe without a staffed support process.
Technical requirements and review
The interactive website uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript in modern browsers; forms and demonstrations require JavaScript. This statement was prepared on 12 October 2026 following a source and server-response review. Browser and assistive-technology results will be recorded after testing.
